Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens in a session?

If you book counselling or kinesiology, we’ll spend about 10–15 minutes at the start discussing what you need, your goals, and what you hope to achieve. This brief conversation helps us plan and tailor the full 75- or 90-minute session to your priorities. You’re welcome to bring a list of questions, concerns, or topics you’d like to cover.

  • Areas of Support

People come to us most often for anxiety, depression and ongoing stress, for feeling stuck in patterns of fight/flight/freeze, and for relationship difficulties such as communication, conflict and intimacy. They also seek support for low self‑esteem, personal growth, and working through grief.

  • Benefits of Counselling/Kinesiology

Clients often notice clearer decision-making and reduced overwhelm, less persistent anxiety and stress, improved relationship skills, calmer nervous‑system responses, stronger and more effective communication, a deeper connection to themselves and their partners, and healthier, more sustainable boundaries.

  • Frequency of Sessions

How often you attend counselling depends on your situation. Most clients come weekly or every two weeks for individual counselling or kinesiology. For couples, we usually recommend sessions every two weeks for the first two months to build strategies and support change.

  • Cancellation Policy

To cancel, please call 0490 782 728 at least 2 business days before your scheduled appointment to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this time frame, or appointments that are missed without notice, will incur the full session fee.

The best way to work with us is to schedule an appointment using the “Book Now” button. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us by email or leave a message in the form below and we will get back to you promptly.
