Counselling Services
At Embodied Haus, we offer Gottman Method Couples Therapy to support couples in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and creating deeper emotional connection. Using research-based tools from the Gottman Method, these sessions help you understand your relationship patterns and develop practical skills to navigate conflict, intimacy, and long-term partnership.
What is the Gottman Method?
The Gottman Method is an evidence-based approach to couples therapy developed through decades of research on relationships. It focuses on strengthening friendship, managing conflict effectively, and building shared meaning within your partnership.
This method provides structured tools to help couples:
Communicate more clearly and safely
Reduce recurring conflict
Rebuild trust after rupture
Deepen emotional and physical intimacy
Who This Is For
Gottman Method therapy may support you if you are:
Experiencing frequent conflict or communication breakdown
Feeling disconnected or emotionally distant
Navigating trust issues or repair after rupture
Wanting to strengthen an already healthy relationship
Preparing for long-term commitment or marriage
Sessions combine Gottman Method tools with a somatic, nervous system-informed approach. This means we not only work with communication strategies, but also support regulation, emotional safety, and the body’s response to conflict. This integrated approach helps create change that feels sustainable—not forced.
